Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assist and determination to enhancing South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) products and services during an engagement along with the agency's senior professionals at a strategic preparing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric exams.
Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% of the registered pupils during the instruction sector.
These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
